Abstract

Usia siswa SMP merupakan masa pubertas yang menimbulkan banyak konflik dan masalah dalam diri mereka yang membutuhkan bimbingan dan bantuan dari orang yang lebih dewasa. Hal ini juga terjadi pada siswa SMP XYZ Tomohon. Salah satu kerinduan SMP XYZ Tomohon yang tertuang dalam profil sekolah adalah memiliki pastoral konseling yang kuat. Namun, hal ini tidak akan tercapai jika hanya satu konselor yang berperan. Wali Kelas memiliki peluang besar dalam mewujudkan pastoral konseling yang kuat. Wali Kelas sebagai guru Kristen perlu menerapkan kepemimpinan yang Alkitabiah dalam menolong siswa bertumbuh. Salah satu kepemimpinan Alkitabiah adalah kepemimpinan gembala. Artikel ini akan menjabarkan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi peran kepemimpinan gembala dari Wali Kelas dalam melakukan pastoral konseling kepada siswa SMP XYZ Tomohon. Terdapat empat yang memengaruhi peran kepemimpinan gembala dari Wali Kelas dalam melakukan pastoral konseling kepada siswa yaitu faktor penggerak, faktor penghambat, faktor penguat, dan faktor inti.
