Abstract

Penggunaan representasi matematika dalam pembelajaran sangat diperlukan dalam pemahaman konsep maupun penyelesaian masalah matematika. selain itu representasi matematika dapat meningkatkan kemanpuan komunikasi matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa efektiv penggunaan representasi matematika dalam pembelajaran matematika di SD. Rangkaian kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan metode pengumpulan data perpustakaan meliputi metode penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Pembelajaran representasi matematika pada siswa SD sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai konsep matematika. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa kemampuan representasi berperan sangat penting karena digunakan sebagai dasar dalam pembelajaran matematika
