Studi Deskriptif Mengenai Profil Komitmen Karier pada Peserta Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG)

Studi tentang career commitment atau Komitmen karier sudah lama menjadi kajian dalam Psikologi industry dan Organisasi. Variable ini menjadi penting karena aka ada pada setiap individu yang bekerja dan menekuni profesi tertentu, termasuk Guru. Dengan adanya pembaharuan kebijakan dan adanya Program PPG untuk menambah kompetensi guru, seharusnya juga dibarengi oleh peningkatan komitmen karier sehingga para guru professional dapat memaksimalkan kompetensinya pada profesi guru. Oleh sebab itu penulis mengajukan penelitian deskriptif tentang komitmen guru pada program PPG. Penelitian ini, merupakan penelitian dasar dan merupakan preliminary research dalam mengembangkan penelitian bahkan pernacangan program. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 118 (N:118) orang guru yang telah mengikuti program PPG. Hasil penelitian ini didpat bahwa rata-rata profil komitmen karierpada guru peserta PPG adalah di level sedang (67.79%) dan kemudian di level tinggi (32.20%).
