Integrasi agama dan sains dalam perspektif Nidhal Guessoum menekankan pentingnya membangun hubungan harmonis antara sains modern dan nilai-nilai agama, terutama Islam. Guessoum mendorong umat Islam untuk mengadopsi pendekatan ilmiah yang berbasis rasionalitas, empirisme, dan keterbukaan terhadap kemajuan sains, tanpa mengabaikan prinsip-prinsip spiritual dan moral dari ajaran agama. Ia memperkenalkan konsep "Islamisasi sains" dengan pendekatan moderat, yang berusaha menyelaraskan wahyu dengan temuan ilmiah melalui reinterpretasi teks-teks agama yang kontekstual dan berbasis ilmiah. Guessoum percaya bahwa integrasi ini dapat memperkuat kontribusi Islam dalam peradaban global, menciptakan masyarakat yang mengapresiasi ilmu pengetahuan sekaligus tetap berpegang teguh pada nilai-nilai religius.
