Analisis Kebutuhan Informasi Pemustaka di perpustakan DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Barat

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebutuhan informasi pemustaka di Perpustakaan DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan studi literatur, penelitian dilaksanakan pada September-Oktober 2024 terhadap 103 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komposisi pengguna perpustakaan didominasi mahasiswa (47,2%), diikuti masyarakat umum (29,4%), dengan motivasi utama pencarian informasi untuk kepentingan akademik dan referensial. Analisis mengungkap pentingnya pengembangan koleksi multiformat yang responsif terhadap keberagaman kebutuhan informasi pemustaka. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Perpustakaan DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Barat telah berhasil menciptakan layanan inklusif, namun masih memerlukan strategi inovatif untuk mengoptimalkan fungsi perpustakaan sebagai pusat informasi yang dinamis dan berkualitas.
