Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi sektor unggulan Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar dari tahun 2019 hingga 2023. Data sekunder yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Maluku dan Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar. Analisis Location Quotient (LQ) digunakan untuk menentukan sektor basis dan non-basis dalam perekonomian Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar, dan Analisis Shift Share untuk mengetahui perubahan dan pergeseran struktur dalam perekonomian. Hasil analisis per sektor yang didasarkan pada kedua alat analisis menunjukkan bahwa sektor yang memenuhi kriteria tergolong sebagai sektor basis di Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar yaitu sektor Pengadaan air, pengolahan sampah, limbah dan daur ulang, sektor konstruksi serta sektor penyediaan makanan dan akomodasi.
