Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Melihat Karena Cahaya Menggunakan Model Problem Based Learning di Kelas V-B SD Negeri 064034

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan apakah model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) mampu meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Melihat Karena Cahaya di kelas V-B SD Negeri 064034. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindak Kelas (PTK). Penelitian Tindak Kelas ini dilaksanakan di kelas V-B SD Negeri 064034 dengan subjek penelitian yaitu guru (peneliti) dan siswa yang berjumlah 25 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian Tes tertulis dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatakan pada aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa dari 45% pada siklus I menjadi 92% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Model Problem Based Learning mampu meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa, 2) model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, 3) model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa model Problem Based Learning efektif dalam upaya meningkatkan aktivtas dan hasil belajar siswa.
