Efektivitas Media Video Pembelajaran Berbasis Direct Instruction dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Prosedural Tata Boga Siswa Tunarungu

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas media video pembelajaran berbasis direct instruction dalam meningkatkan kemampuan prosedural tata boga, khususnya teknik dasar menggoreng makanan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimen dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari empat siswa tunarungu kelas VII SMPLB. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan rubrik penilaian kinerja dan dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain Score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video pembelajaran berbasis direct instruction efektif meningkatkan kemampuan prosedural tata boga bagi siswa tunarungu, dengan Mean N-Gain Score sebesar 0,47 masuk kategori efektif. Media ini terbukti mempermudah siswa dalam memahami langkah-langkah prosedur tata boga secara visual dan meningkatkan keterampilan siswa tunarungu khususnya dalam menggoreng makanan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan media video serupa untuk pembelajaran tata boga atau mata pelajaran lain bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus.
