Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kedisiplinan anak usia 4-6 tahun yang diasuh oleh Orang tua pengganti. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan hasil catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Campbell. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kedisiplinan pada anak dilakukan sesuai pengalaman dan wawasan orang tua pengganti (openes to experience). Orang tua pengganti memberikan aturan lisan kepada anak dengan harapan agar anak bisa mematuhinya. Namun dalam menerapkan aturan lisan orang tua pengganti menyertakan dengan penjelasan yang menggunakan kata-kata yang baik dan mudah dipahami anak, sehingga tercipta interaksi harmonis antara orang tua pengganti dan anak. Kedisplinan anak ini muncul karena adanya pembiasaan aturan yang dilakukan oleh orang tua pengganti.
