The Influence Of “Hello English” Towards Students’ Vocabulary Achievement

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Hello English terhadap prestasi kosakata siswa di kelas delapan SMP Negeri 3 Darma. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental, satu grup dirancang dengan pre-test dan post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 33 siswa. Penulis menggunakan total sampling untuk menentukan sampel, sehingga sampelnya adalah 33 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan angket. Berdasarkan analisis dan perhitungan data, uji Paired-Sample T-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 artinya nilai signifikan lebih kecil dari taraf signifikan (0,000 < 0,05). Hasil nilai signifikan menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Artinya ada pengaruh penggunaan Hello English Application terhadap prestasi kosakata siswa.
