Kepemimpinan otokratis yang merupakan kebalikan dari kepemimpinan masih menjadi pembahasan yang menarik di era pasca modern. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perkembangan kepemimpinan otokratis dalam meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Pemimpin dunia dengan gaya kepemimpinan otentik seperti Hitler di Jerman, Bill Gates dari Amerika dan Kim Jong Un dari Korea telah berpasang-pasangan sukses di zamannya. Untuk itu, tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan fenomena kepemimpinan otokratis dalam keberhasilannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif naratif melalui review jurnal. Hasilnya adalah bahwa kepemimpinan otokratis relevan dalam kondisi tertentu yang memerlukan pengawasan ketat dari elemen organisasi dalam tujuan.
