Pengaruh Strategi PACER Terhadap Keterampilan Membaca Skimming Mahasiswa PGSD STKIP Adzkia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengaruh strategi preview assess ahoose axpedite reeview (PACER) terhadapa keterampilan membaca skimming mahasiswa PGSD STKIP Adzkia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Variabel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari Strategi PACER sebagai variabel bebas dan keterampilan Membaca Skimming sebagai variabel terikat. instrumen penelitiannya yaitu RPS dan lembar keterampilan membaca cepat. Analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian yaitu nilai pretest dan posttes menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan yaitu nilai rata-rata pretest di kelas eksperimen 73 meningkat menjadi 78 pada saat posttest. Hasil analisis data juga memperlihatkan adanya pengaruh penerapan strategi PACER pada keterampilan membaca skimming pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang tanpa menggunakan strategi PACER. hal ini ditunjukkan dari uji-t yang menunjukan adanya nilai signifikansi > 0,05 berdasarkan nilai thitung dengan ttabel. diperoleh thitung 4,08>ttabel = 1.67722. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis tersebut, dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang laih baik penggunaan strategi Preview Assess Choose Expedite Review (PACER) terhadap keterampilan membaca skimming mahasiswa PGSD STKIP Adzkia.

The Effect of PACER Strategy on Skimming Reading Skills of PGSD STKIP Adzkia Students
This study aims to determine the effect of the preview assess ahoose review (PACER) strategy on skimming reading skills of PGSD STKIP Adzkia students. The research method used in this study is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The variables in this study consisted of PACER Strategy as the independent variable and Skimming Reading skill as the dependent variable. The research instruments are RPS and speed reading skill sheets. The data analysis in this study were normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study, namely the pretest and posttest scores showed an increase in skills, namely the average pretest score in the experimental class from 73 to 78 at the posttest. The results of data analysis also show that there is an effect of implementing the PACER strategy on skimming reading skills in the experimental class and the control class without using the PACER strategy. this is shown from the t-test which shows a significance value > 0.05 based on the value of tcount with ttable. obtained tcount = 4.08> ttable = 1.67722. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is a better effect of using the Preview Assess Choose Expedite Review (PACER) strategy on skimming reading skills of PGSD STKIP Adzkia students.
