Abstract

 

Sumatera Barat adalah daerah rawan bencana, dan Padang terletak di ring api. Potensi bencana dan kerentanan di daerah perkotaan tinggi. Beberapa penelitian mengungkap kearifan budaya di masyarakat yang berpotensi sangat berharga dalam menghadapi masalah bencana alam yang melanda wilayah tersebut, selain itu budaya di Sumatera Barat kental akan ajaran islami sesuai dengan falsafah Adat Basandi Syarak–Syarak Basandi Kitabullah. Konseling islami diharapkan dapat menangani trauma korban bencana pasca gempa bumi di Sumatera Barat.
