Teaching Vocabulary Using Flashcard to Young Learners

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan flashcard film dalam bahasa inggris dapat meningkatkan kosa kata young learners, dan untuk mengetahui aspek kosa kata mana yang mengalami peningkatan tertinggi dalam penggunaannya. Pendektayan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Tes kosa kata digunakan sebagai instrument pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian adalah anak 6-8 tahun pada siswa sekolah dasar di Bangkinang Kota. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pencapaian kosa kata siswa setelah mempelajari kosa kata bahasa inggris dengan menggunakan flashcard. Diharapkan flashcard dapat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan pencapaian kosa kata siswa.
