Pengembangan SIPINTER: Fasilitas Pengolahan Administrasi Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan di Sekolah

Penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan utama, yaitu mengembangkan model proses pengelolaan data sekolah dan sistem informasi manajemen, dan merumuskan spesifikasi, hardware, dan brainware yang sesuai kebutuhan user. Secara metodologi, penelitian pengembangan ini mengikuti prosedur pengembangan desain produk yang berpendekatan end-user. Adapun dalam hal pengujian produk aplikasi, penelitian ini mengadopsi langkah-langkah pengujian yang dikemukakan Borg & Gall. Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan aplikasi desktop terpadu yang dinamai Sipinter (sistem informasi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan terpadu) yang layak. Aplikasi ini terdiri atas tiga modul, yaitu modul data induk pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, modul presensi, dan modul jurnal pembelajaran. Sipinter dinyatakan layak karena ia memenuhi syarat minimal untuk lulus dalam uji efektifitas dan uji efisiensi. Kedua uji tersebut ditempuh dengan pengujian black box, analisis angket respon pengguna, verifikasi-validasi, dan pengujian lapangan selama tiga bulan secara terus menerus. Hasil dari masing-masing uji ditindaklanjuti dengan perbaikan dalam rangka penyempurnaan Sipinter. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini berimplikasi kepada tersedianya perangkat SIM yang layak (efektif dan efisien) untuk mengadministrasikan data pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di tingkat sekolah.
