Peran Kecemasan Karir terhadap Keraguan Pengambilan Keputusan Karir dengan Planned Happenstance Skill sebagai Variabel Moderator pada Mahasiswa Universitas Airlangga

Keraguan pengambilan keputusan karir merupakan permasalahan yang muncul ketika individu harus membuat keputusan terkait karir yang ditunjukkan dengan ketidakmampuannya dalam membuat pilihan karir yang spesifik. Kondisi sosial ekonomi di negara Indonesia yang menimbulkan tantangan untuk lulusan baru, ditambah dampak pandemi Covid-19 pada ekonomi negara dapat berpotensi menimbulkan kecemasan pada individu yang sedang melalui proses transisi karir dari dunia perkuliahan menuju dunia kerja. Setelah melakukan kajian, terdapat kemampuan yang dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian selama masa transisi karir, yaitu Planned Happenstance Skill. Planned Happenstance Skill diasumsikan dapat menjadi variabel moderator antara kecemasan karir dan keraguan pengambilan keputusan karir pada mahasiswa Universitas Airlangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner untuk mengukur kecemasan karir, keraguan pengambilan keputusan karir, dan Planned Happenstance Skill pada mahasiswa Universitas Airlangga. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 95 mahasiswa dengan rentang usia 18-24 tahun. Pemilihan subjek dilakukan dengan teknik convenient sampling. Skala penelitian yang digunakan merupakan skala penelitian yang telah diadaptasi, diantaranya yaitu Career Decision Making Difficulties (CDDQ), Career Anxiety Scale (CAS), dan Planned Happenstance Career Inventory (PHCI). Setelah data didapatkan, data diolah menggunakan Moderated Regression Analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peran yang signifikan antara kecemasan karir dan keraguan pengambilan keputusan karir. Meski demikian, moderasi dari Planned Happenstance Skill tidak menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Planned Happenstance Skill tidak dapat mengurangi peran kecemasan karir terhadap keraguan pengambilan keputusan karir mahasiswa.
