Pengaruh Quarter Life Crisis terhadap Subjective Well-Being pada Dewasa Awal di Kota Medan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh quarter life crisis terhadap subjective well-being pada dewasa awal di Kota Medan. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh quarter life crisis terhadap subjective well-being pada dewasa awal di Kota Medan. Dalam penelitian ini, jumlah sampel ditentukan dengan tabel Isaac dan Michael dengan tingkat kesalahan 5% sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebesar 347 orang dewasa awal di Kota Medan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan design penelitian regresi linear sederhana. Variabel bebas (X) adalah quarter life crisis dan variabel terikat (Y) adalah subjective well-being. Skala quarter life crisis disusun berdasarkan aspek menurut Robins dan Wilner (2001) dan skala subjective well-being disusun berdasarkan aspek menurut Diener (2005). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh koefisien regresi linear dengan nilai (r=0,682) dan (p) = 0.000 (p<0,05). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima, yakni terdapat pengaruh quarter life crisis terhadap subjective well-being pada dewasa awal di Kota Medan. Dengan arah yang negative yang artinya adalah semakin tinggi skor quarter life crisis maka semakin rendah subjective well-being demikian sebaliknya.
