Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kontrol diri laki-laki dan perempuan berdasarkan urutan kelahiran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji beda independent sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kontrol siswa laki-laki berada pada kategori tinggi. Begitu juga dengan siswa perempuan memiliki kontrol diri pada kategori sangat tinggi pula. Hasil uji hipotesis membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat kontrol diri siswa laki-laki dan perempuan di SMPN 40 Pekanbaru dengan nilai uji t menunjukkan Sig. sebesar (0,00) < (0,05) yang berarti Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak.
