Abstract

Resiliensi merupakan kemampuan untuk beradaptasi dari kesulitan yang dialami individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji seberapa besar pengaruh internal locus of control terhadap resiliensi pada mahasiswa rantau. Responden penelitian ini adalah 103 mahasiswa rantau yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki maupun perempuan dengan rentang usia 19-24 tahun, berasal dari daerah luar Pulau Jawa, bertempat tinggal indekost atau asrama, waktu lamanya merantau di antara 1-7 tahun, dan berkuliah di universitas atau perguruan tinggi dalam Jabodetabek. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala resiliensi CD-RISC dan skala internal locus of control ialah subskala internality dari skala IPC. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik regresi sederhana. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan nilai R Square=0,664 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,01) yang menunjukan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini diterima, yaitu terdapat pengaruh internal locus of control yaitu terdapat pengaruh internal locus of control terhadap resiliensi, di mana internal locus of contol memiliki pengaruh sebesar 66,4% terhadap resiliensi, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 33,6% dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar penelitian.
