Hubungan Antara Parent Attachment dengan Self Esteem pada Mahasiswa di Sumatera Barat

Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan kelekatan orangtua dengan harga diri pada mahasiswa di Sumatera Barat. Responden dalam penelitian iniseperti151 mahasiswa berumur 18-23 tahun di Sumatera Barat.Metode kuantitatif korelasional merupakan metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini. Teknik purposive sampling merupakan teknik yang dipakai dalam pengambilan sampel. Instrumen yang dipakai peneliti yaituadaptasi skala Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment oleh Gullone dan Robinson (2005) berdasarkan teori Armsden & Greenberg dan skala harga diri disusun oleh Rosenberg yang telah diadaptasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian yang diperoleh nilai sig 0,001 (p <0,01 ) sehingga bisa disimpulkan adanya korelasi antara kelekatan orangtua dengan harga diri pada mahasiswa di Sumatera Barat.
