Abstract

Hipertensi adalah suatu peningkatan tekanan darah yang apa bila dibiarkan dapat menimbulkan berbagai komplikasi dan kematian. Penderita hipertensi harus meminum obat secara teratur, guna mencegah terjadinya komplikasi. Rendahnya kepatuhan minum obat antihipertensi memperburuk prognosis hipertensi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepatuhan komsumsi obat pada pekerja dengan hipertensi disalah satu perusahaan BUMN di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Descriptive Kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan salah satu Perusahaan BUMN di Jakarta yang terdiagnosa hipertensi. Sample berjumlah 108 karyawan yang dipilih. dengan metode Total Sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah Kuesioner Morisky Medication Adherence Scale-8 (MMAS-8). Kategori kepatuhan minum obat hipertensi yang paling banyak berada pada kepatuhan sedang yaitu 62,10%, kepatuhan tinggi sebanyak 25,9%, kepatuhan rendah berjumlah 12%. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi perhatian bagi pihak perusahaan untuk dapat meningkatkan program kegiatan penyuluhan terhadap informasi-informasi yang mendukung terhadap promosi kesehatan terutama yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien hipertensi dan juga dapat melakukan evaluasi secara berkala
