Minangkabau Women's Communication Style As A Bundo Kanduang In Era 4.0

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis gaya komunikasi perempuan Minangkabau sebagai bundo kanduang di era 4.0. Dimana dalam budaya Minangkabau perempuan (bundo kanduang) berperan dan memiliki tanggungjawab yang tinggi dalam keberlangsungan setiap lini kehidupan. Peranan bundo kanduang menyangkut moral anak, kemenakan dan kaumnya dimana bundo kanduang ini bertanggungjawab memberikan contoh serta pengajaran tentang: agama, tata krama, sopan santun dan budaya yang berkembang di tengah masyarakat. Pada era 4.0 bundo kanduang dapat terbantu dalam memberikan informasi dan mengetahui info serta kejadian terkini dari anak, kemenakan dan kaum. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kualitatif, penenlitian ini akan mengakaji gaya komunikasi perempuan Minangkabau berdasarkan konteks budaya dimana gaya komunikasi dan cara berinteraksi bundo kanduang dianggap dapat meningkatkan kembali marwah dan mengembalikan fungsi bundo kanduang sebagai pelestari budaya di tengah kehidupan anak, kemenakan dan kaumnya. Penelitian ini dibantu dengan teori dramaturgi dari erving goffman dan konsep gaya komunikasi dari alo liliweri. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan subjek penelitian (bundo kanduang) berserta anak, kemenakan dan kaum yang berada di sekeliling subjek, observasi dan pengumpulan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan memaparkan bahwa gaya komunikasi dalam interaksi bundo kanduang dengan anak, kemanakan dan kaumnya lebih terlihat berhasil menarik minat ketika bundo kanduang menggunakan gaya santai (relatexed style), gaya atentif (attentive style), gaya terbuka (open style) dan gaya bersahabat (friendly style).
