Abstract

Menulis merupakan keterampilan yang biasanya di dapatkan pada masa anak di sekolah, dimana ketika anak menguasai keterampilan ini menjadi kompetensi kunci untuk sukses di sekolah. Di dalam menulis dibutuhkan ide dan keterampilan yang kemudian menerjemahkannya ke dalam bahasa lisan, dan mentranskripsikannya ke dalam teks tertulis. Ide dan keterampilan dalam menulis inilah sebagai perkembangan motorik dan kognitif siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Perkembangan Motorik dan Kognitif Siswa SD Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Purwokerto 02 Melalui FLP Kids. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu  proses menulis menggunakan tulisan tangan dengan maksud untuk melatih keterampilan motorik siswa melalui simbol/ bentuk huruf di setiap tulisannya. Dimana kemampuan menulis merupakan kemampuan yang memerlukan koordinasi antara mata dan tangan serta dalam pengembangan kognitif siswa dilakukan melalui pendekatan proses dengan tujuan dalam proses menulis berpusat pada siswa dan siswa dapat menunjukkan kemampuannya dalam proses menulis serta siswa mampu membangun kekuatan berpikir dan kreativitas mereka.
