Analisis Deiksis dalam Cerpen ”Sepotong Hati Yang Baru” Karya Tere Liye

Penelitian ini berlatar belakang penggunaan deiksis pada karya sastra cerpen sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk mendeskripsikan jenis penggunaan deiksis dalam cerpen berjudul Sepotong Hati yang Baru karya Tere Liye yang menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik baca dan teknik catat digunakan untuk pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini karena data yang ditemukan yakni sebuah kata atau kalimat serta dialog yang memiliki unsur deiksis persona, deiksis waktu, dan deiksis tempat. Hasil penelitian ini akan ditemukan tiga jenis deiksis, yaitu deiksis persona (persona orang pertama, orang kedua, orang ketiga), deiksis tempat (deiksis jauh), dan deiksis waktu (deiksis masa lalu, masa kini, dan masa mendatang).
