Abstract

Tulisan artikel ini menbahas tentang keefektifan penggunaan media kahoot dalam upaya meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik pada pelajaran geografi Fase E SMAN 10 Padang. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode desain Experimental dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data melalui angket. Analisis statistik yang digunakan yaitu korelasi product moment untuk menguji validitas dan croncbach’s alpha untuk uji reabilitas instrumen. Metode Shapiro wilk untuk menguji normalitas data, dan statistic diskriptif untuk menguji homogenitas, independent sampel t test untuk menguji hipotesis dan untuk mengetahui efektifitas media kahoot dalam upaya meningkatkan minat belajar menggunakan Uji N-Gain. Hasil uji hipotesis data minat belajar siswa menggunakan indenpendent samples t test, data minat belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa thitung>ttabel (4.282>1.995) dengan signifikansi 0,000. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian keefektifan dengan N-Gain Score, diperoleh data minat belajar siswa menunjukkan nilai Gain score 65%, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media kahoot cukup efektif meningkatkan minat balajar siswa.
