Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok menjadi salah satu daerah di Sumatera Barat yang kaya dengan mineral bijih besi. Karakteristik bijih besi di daerah tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan baku dalam sintesis nanopartikel Fe3O4. Variasi volume larutan FeCl2,FeCl3 dalam mensintesis nanopartikel Fe3O4 pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh volume larutan FeCl2,FeCl3 terhadap struktur kristal dan ukuran partikel Fe3O4.
