Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos dalam film Mencuri Raden Saleh karya Angga Dwimas Sasongko. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengamatan langsung pada objek penelitian, yakni pada film Mencuri Raden Saleh karya Angga Dwimas Sasongko. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes dengan penandaan denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos yang terdapat pada adegan atau tokoh dalam film Mencuri Raden Saleh karya Angga Dwimas Sasongko. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat tiga puluh enam makna denotasi, tiga puluh enam makna konotasi, dan dua puluh sembilan mitos dalam film Mencuri Raden Saleh karya Angga Dwimas Sasongko.
