Pengaruh Homogenisasi Sekunder Inversi 5 Kali dan 8 Kali terhadap Jumlah Eritrosit

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pemeriksaan eritrosit sebagai bagian dari skrining rutin untuk mendiagnosis gangguan hematologis. Tahap pra-analitik, khususnya homogenisasi, penting karena bisa terjadi kesalahan. Darah dalam tabung antikoagulan harus segera dicampur (homogenisasi primer) dengan membolak-balik tabung 8-12 kali menurut standar CLSI, BD Vacutainer, dan PerMenKes. Jika pemeriksaan tertunda, darah harus dihomogenisasi kembali (homogenisasi sekunder). Tujuan penelitian adalah melihat perbedaan hasil hitung eritrosit pada homogenisasi sekunder 5 dan 8 kali. Metode yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimen dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Hasil homogenisasi 5 kali memberikan nilai rata-rata eritrosit 4,8163 x106/µL, sedangkan 8 kali sebesar 4,8250 x106/µL. Analisis statistik menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan (p = 0,970). Kesimpulannya tidak ada perbedaan jumlah eritrosit antara homogenisasi 5 dan 8 kali.
