Penelitian ini mengkaji langkah-langkah operasionalisasi variabel dalam penelitian pendidikan melalui pendekatan sistematis. Fokus utama adalah menganalisis teori yang mendasari proses ini, termasuk definisi operasional, pentingnya validitas dan reliabilitas, serta cara mengubah konsep abstrak menjadi item empiris. Penelitian ini juga membandingkan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam operasionalisasi variabel, Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi pustaka, Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa operasionalisasi variabel memerlukan perumusan variabel yang jelas, penggunaan indikator yang tepat, dan pengujian validitas serta reliabilitas instrumen. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan ini menghasilkan data yang akurat dan berkontribusi signifikan dalam peningkatan kualitas penelitian pendidikan, dengan rekomendasi praktis untuk pengembangan instrumen pengukuran yang valid dan reliabel.
