Analisis Perbandingan Kurikulum 2013 dengan Kurikulum Merdeka Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA SMP

Perkembangan pendidikan di Indonesia berlangsung sangat pesat, terlihat dari perubahan kurikulum yang diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Kemendikbudristek telah menetapkan dan mengganti kurikulum 2013 dengan kurikulum merdeka pada tahun 2022. Namun masih ada sekolah dimana mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013 hingga saat ini. Fenomena ini menarik perhatian peneliti untuk mengkaji pengimplementasian Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum Merdeka di mata pelajaran IPA, serta mengevaluasi bermacam hambatan dimana dihadapi dalam pelaksanaannya. Sifat penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dimana metode pengumpulan datanya dilaksanakan lewat lembar kuesioner serta wawancara. Subjek penelitian pada riset ini guru IPA, siswa di SMPN 2 dan SMPN 5 Kec. Pangkalan. Hasil riset memperlihatkan jika pengimplementasian Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum Merdeka di mata pelajaran IPA di SMPN 2 dan SMPN 5 Kec. Pangkalan belum optimal. Guru menghadapi hambatan internal dan eksternal dalam mengimplementasikan kedua kurikulum ini.
