Abstract

Mobilitas yang semakin tinggi dapat mempengaruhi permasalahan lalu lintas seperti penumpukan ruas. Simpang 3 tidak bersinyal Wika Kota Balikpapan merupakan titik persimpangan Antara Jalan MT. Haryono – Jalan Syarifuddin Yoes – Jalan MT Haryono. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui volume arus lalu lintas, kinerja simpang. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian pada 2 hari kerja dan 1 hari libur.  Dari pengambilan data maka diperoleh jumlah kendaraan terbesar pada jam puncak rabu, (17.00 - 18.00) pendekat (A, B dan C) dengan total kendaraan sebesar 10.593 kend/jam. Diperoleh juga tipe lingkungan komersial dengan hambatan samping yang tinggi mendapatkan nilai kapasitas (C) simpang sebesar 2970,063 smp/jam. Nilai Derajat Kejenuhan ( ) pada simpang sebesar 1,60 smp/jam, ( <0,60). Nilai tundaan simpang sebesar 24,15 detik/smp. Nilai peluang antrian sebesar 0,04% - 2,44%. Analisa dilakukan berdasarkan Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) 2023.
