Untuk mencapai kesuksesan dan kesiapan anak-anak di sekolah yang dimulai dari pendidikan usia dini, perlu fokus secara strategis dan sengaja untuk mendorong perkembangan sosial-emosional. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi pustaka (study literature). Adapun tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk menjelaskan, 1) teori perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini, 2) bagaimana kemampuan sosial emosional anak-anak berkembang, dan 3) strategi untuk membantu perkembangan social emosional anak di sekolah. Penjelasan tentang tiga pokok tersebut akan membantu orang tua dan pendidik dalam memahami dan mengembangkan social emosional anak usia dini.
