Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 064030 Medan Kota . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SD Negeri  064030 Medan Kota V dengan subjek berjumlah 30  siswa yang terdiri dari 12 laki-laki dan 18 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik desktipstif kualitatif yang digunakan menganalisis hasil pengamatan yang terkait dengan penerapan model dan yang terkait dengan hasil belajar siswa Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, hasil belajar siswa meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team games turnamen. Hal ini terlihat dari persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar pada siklus I, menjadi 80% pada siklus II atau meningkat sebesar 93%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team games Tournament dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 064030 Medan Kota
