Abstract

Penipuan online meningkatkan risiko keamanan dan kepercayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ancaman pidana terhadap penipuan online di Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan data sekunder dari Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika serta pengkajian yuridis normatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penipuan online dapat dikenakan sanksi pidana berdasarkan Undang-Undang No. 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik dan pasal 28 ayat 1 UU ITE Kesimpulan: perlu dilakukan penegakan hukum yang efektif dan kesadaran masyarakat untuk mencegah penipuan online.
