Penerapan teknologi dalam pendidikan telah menjadi semakin penting di era digital saat ini. Namun, terdapat tantangan-tantangan terkait aksesibilitas dan penguasaan teknologi di kalangan peserta didik. Dalam menjawab tantangan ini, pendekatan "Computer Science Unplugged" (CS Unplugged) muncul sebagai solusi dari tantangan yang ada. CS Unplugged adalah pendekatan pengajaran yang mengajarkan konsep-konsep dasar dalam ilmu komputer tanpa menggunakan perangkat keras atau perangkat lunak. Pendekatan ini menekankan pada pembelajaran konsep-konsep fundamental komputer melalui kegiatan-kegiatan fisik dan berbasis permainan
