Fear of Missing Out dengan Sujective Well-Being pada Remaja

Subjective well-being didefinisikan sebagai tingkat kepuasan hidup dan keseimbangan emosi positif dan negative. Meningkatnya penggunaan media sosial memengaruhi kesejahteraan subjektif remaja, salah satunya melalui fenomena Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). FoMO adalah kecemasan berlebihan akibat merasa tertinggal informasi atau pengalaman di media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji hubungan antara FoMO dan kesejahteraan subjektif pada 155 siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Taman berusia 16–18 tahun, yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain korelasional dengan skala FoMO dan kesejahteraan subjektif yang valid dan reliabel. Data dikumpulkan melalui Google Form dan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Product Moment dengan SPSS versi 25. Hasil analisis menunjukkan koefisien korelasi rxy = -0,174 dengan p = 0,030 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan negatif signifikan. Semakin tinggi FoMO, semakin rendah kesejahteraan subjektif remaja.
