Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi dan metode pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) guna meningkatkan pemahaman dan karakter siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menelaah berbagai sumber akademik, termasuk jurnal, buku, dan artikel ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran kontekstual, berbasis karakter, dan aktif efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Sementara itu, metode ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, serta pemanfaatan teknologi digital terbukti memperkaya pengalaman belajar mereka. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber belajar dan kompetensi guru masih menjadi kendala. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan guru dan inovasi metode pembelajaran perlu terus dikembangkan agar pembelajaran PAI lebih efektif dan bermakna.
