Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat sekolah dasar memegang peranan penting dalam membentuk kemampuan literasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berbasis kearifan lokal sebagai pendekatan inovatif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran, seperti cerita rakyat, pantun, peribahasa, dan permainan tradisional, mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar.
