Dampak Implementasi Program Pembelajaran Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka pada Mahasiswa Program Studi Sastra Inggris Universitas Komputer Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan menelisik sikap mahasiswa Program Studi Sastra Inggris Universitas Komputer Indonesia terhadap Program Pembelajaran Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Fokus penelitian diberikan pada kompetensi spesifik dari dampak implementasi Program Pembelajaran MBKM. Membongkar isu terkait dampak program ini, penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, survei, dan wawancara mendalam diterapkan pada tahap pengumpulan data, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi mahasiswa meningkat secara bertahap setelah mengikuti program ini. Keterampilan dan kecakapan hidup dasar seperti sikap adaptif, kematangan emosional, dan keterampilan berkomunikasi merupakan keterampilan soft skills yang dikembangkan. Sementara itu, keterampilan hard skills ditandai peningkatan keterampilan performa berbahasa, keterampilan digital, dan kemampuan rekayasa digital. Hasil penelitian dapat dimanfaatkan institusi pendidikan, yakni sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk membuat dan menentukan strategi pengembangan dan peningkatan kompetensi sehingga mampu menghasilkan lulusan kompetitif.
