Pengaruh Self-Esteem dan Trust terhadap Self-Disclosure pada Individu yang Menjalani Cyber Love Relationship

Cyber love menjadi salah satu fenomena yang seringkali dijumpai pada masa pesatnya perkembangan internet saat ini. Hal ini menjadi perhatian bagi banyak peneliti, terutama mengenai terjalinnya hubungan romantis hanya melalui media internet tanpa pernah ada pertemuan secara langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-esteem dan trust terhadap self-disclosure. Penelitian ini melibatkan 131 individu yang pernah atausedang menjalani cyber love relationship. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara self-esteem dan trust terhadap self-disclosure sebesar 36,3%. Riset ini menunjukkan bahwa trust memiliki pengaruh yang lebih kuat dibandingkan self-esteem terhadap self-disclosure. Dalam penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa individu yang memiliki self-esteem yang tinggi dan trust yang tinggi pula dapat memengaruhi self-diclosure individu tersebut ketika menjalani cyber love relationship.
