Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Membaca Kata-Kata Dasar Siswa Kelas I-A SD N 060886 Medan Baru Melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Make a Match dan Media Kartu Bergambar

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan di kelas 1A SDN 060886 Medan Baru untuk mengatasi rendahnya kemampuan membaca kata dasar siswa yang teridentifikasi pada asesmen pra siklus. Penerapan model pembelajaran Make a Match berbantuan media kartu bergambar dilakukan melalui dua siklus, dengan perbaikan strategi pada Siklus II berdasarkan refleksi Siklus I. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dimana pada Siklus II seluruh siswa mencapai ketuntasan minimal dalam membaca kata dasar, rata-rata nilai kelas meningkat dari 71,48 menjadi 83,33, serta terjadi peningkatan keaktifan dan fokus siswa selama pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa model Make a Match yang diterapkan dengan strategi pengelolaan kelas dan pendekatan yang tepat terbukti efektif meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kata dasar, partisipasi aktif, dan fokus belajar siswa kelas rendah.
