Efektifitas Baby Swimming dalam Perkembangan Motorik Kasar, Motorik Halus dan Perubahan Kualitas Tidur Bayi Usia 5-14 Bulan di Klub Splish Splash Kota Surabaya

Tumbuh kembang bayi, motor control, motor learning, dan motor development yang optimal merupakan tugas penting bagi orang.Di Indonesia jumlah bayi adalah 5% dari total penduduk, dimana persentase bayi dengan keterlambatan perkembangan (rata-rata) antara 5,3% - 7,5%. Maka dari itu tumbuh kembang anak perlu distimulus agar optimal, salah satunya yaitu program baby swimming. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui adakah pengaruh frekuensi baby swimming terhadap motorik kasar, motorik halus, dan kualitias tidur. Dengan metode eksperimen berjenis one group pretest-posttest yang menggunakan seluruh populasi sejumlah 10 bayi umur 5-14 bulan di Splish Splash Kota Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan treatment baby swimming dapat meningkatkan motorik kasar, halus, dan kualitas tidur. Peningkatan setiap variabel, dilihat dari perolehan nilai mean pretest dan posttest. Pada variabel motorik kasar memperoleh peningkatan sebesar 100% lalu motorik halus sebesar 80% dan kualitas tidur sebesar 58,1%. Melihat hasil tersebut maka menandakan bahwa hipotesis diterima.
