Integrasi Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Quizizz dalam Evaluasi Pembelajaran IPS: Studi Kualitatif tentang Dampaknya terhadap Motivasi dan Kemampuan Analisis Siswa SMPN 35 Medan

Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak integrasi Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan platform Quizizz dalam evaluasi pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) terhadap motivasi dan kemampuan analisis siswa SMPN 35 Medan. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-eksploratif, data dikumpulkan dari wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen terhadap 25 siswa dan 2 guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi PBL berbasis kasus kontekstual Medan dengan mekanisme gamifikasi Quizizz meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik (melalui partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi) dan ekstrinsik (via kompetisi sehat dalam kuis). Kemampuan analisis siswa berkembang signifikan, tercermin dari peningkatan penggunaan perspektif multidisiplin (68%) dan integrasi data lokal (92%). Tantangan utama meliputi manajemen waktu, kebutuhan adaptasi RPP, serta ketidakstabilan infrastruktur teknologi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi PBL-Quizizz berpotensi mentransformasi evaluasi pembelajaran IPS menjadi lebih interaktif dan relevan dengan konteks sosial siswa.
