Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis varian teks naskah Si Mardan melalui pendekatan filologi. Naskah Si Mardan sebagai karya sastra klasik memiliki nilai historis tinggi, namun keberadaan multiple versi menimbulkan variasi tekstual yang perlu dikaji mendalam. Metode penelitian menggunakan filologi dengan teknik kritik teks, meliputi inventarisasi naskah, kolasi teks, dan analisis stemmatologi untuk merekonstruksi hubungan genealogis antar naskah. Data primer berupa naskah-naskah Si Mardan dari berbagai perpustakaan dan koleksi pribadi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lima kategori varian teks: ortografi, leksikal, sintaksis, semantik, dan struktural. Varian ortografi paling dominan, mencerminkan perbedaan tradisi penulisan dan periode penyalinan. Analisis stemmatologi menghasilkan pohon silsilah naskah dengan tiga tradisi utama penyalinan. Temuan memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pemahaman tradisi pernaskahan sastra klasik dan menyediakan dasar edisi kritis naskah Si Mardan.
