Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi orang tua terhadap peran PAUD dalam mengembangkan kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan Teknik wawancara terhadap orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 4-6 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian orang tua terhadap PAUD itu berperan penting dalam membantu anak bersosialisasi, mengenali dan mengatur emosi, serta mengembangkan nilai-nilai seperti kerjasama dan tanggung jawab. Orang tua berharap bahwa lembaga PAUD dapat terus menjadi tempat yang ramah dan mendukung perkembangan karakter anak-anak selain dari segi akademis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pentingnya orang tua dan Lembaga PAUD untuk bekerja sama dalam meningkatkan perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini.
