Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Concrete Pictorial Abstract terhadap Kemampuan Representasi Matematis di Sekolah Dasar

Penelitian ini merupakan studi kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan model pembelajaran Concrete Pictorial Abstract (CPA) terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa sekolah dasar. Representasi matematis penting karena menjadi landasan bagi siswa untuk memahami serta mengaplikasikan konsep matematika. Model CPA sendiri mencakup tiga tahapan pembelajaran, yaitu: tahap konkret (penggunaan objek nyata), tahap pictorial (penggunaan media visual seperti gambar dan grafik), dan tahap abstrak (penggunaan simbol-simbol matematika). Dalam pelaksanaannya, siswa pada tahap konkret diminta memanipulasi objek seperti spidol atau alat ukur. Kemudian, mereka merepresentasikan masalah dalam bentuk visual (gambar/diagram), dan terakhir menggunakan simbol-simbol untuk menunjukkan pemahaman mereka terhadap masalah matematika yang dihadapi.
