Potensi Ekstrak Daun Turi Merah (Sesbania grandiflora L. Pers) Sebagai Immunomodulator Pada Mencit (Mus musculus) Nifas yang Diinokulasi Streptococcus agalactiae

Streptococcus agalactiae merupakan salah satu bakteri yang berperan terhadap terjadinya infeksi post partum selain Staphylococcus aureus. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui potensi ekstrak daun turi merah sebagai immunomodulator terhadap Mencit (Mus musculus) nifas yang diinokulasi Streptococcus agalactiae.Terdapat 4 kelompok mencit nifas yaitu : satu kelompok kontrol, dan tiga kelompok perlakuan dengan 3 dosis. Pemberian ekstrak daun turi merah pada kelompok perlakuan 2 jam setelah pemberian bakteri melalui oral dengan 3 dosis. Pengukuran kadar sitokin IL 6 menggunakan metode ELISA. Analisis menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis didapatkan (p < 0,05) dan uji |Ri-Rj| 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penurunan kadar sitokin proinflamasi IL 6 secara signifikan pada kelompok perlakuan (P2) dengan dosis 250mg/kgBB dan (P3) dengan dosis 500mg/kgBB. Zat aktif pada daun turi merah (flavonoid) mempengaruhi makrofag untuk menurunkan sitokin proinflamasi.
