Peranan Agama dimasa Pandemi Covid-19

Penelitian ini mendialogkan berbagai realitas aktivitas keagamaan selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Dari memahami realitas tersebut maka dapat dilihat peranan dari agama saat Covid-19 mewabah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode fenomenologi, dengan melakukan amatan terhadap berbagai media dan penelitian yang memuat kajian tentang aktivitas agama selama masa pandemi. Agama secara konseptual merupakan bentuk peningkatan kualitas iman kepada Tuhan dan relasi antar manusia. Agama merupakan penerapan nilai kasih dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dalam masa pandemi, agama mengalami masa-masa sulit. Aktivitas beragama dibatasi untuk mencegah penyebaran virus Covid-19. Dalam tantangan seperti ini intitusi agama dan para pemuka agama berperan secara aktif dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan dan integritas iman umatnya. Kepatuhan menghantar para pemeluk agama menuju pada keselamatan bersama, serta sekaligus meningkatkan spiritualitas kepada Tuhan.
