Keputusan Investasi: Pengujian Pengaruh Literasi Keuangan, Edukasi Keuangan, dan Kemampuan Keuangan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan investasi seorang wirausahawan khususnya wirausahawan yang beroperasi di Sumatera Utara. Berdasarkan tinjauan pustaka yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, umumnya keputusan investasi mengalami beberapa kendala yang antara lain bias, perilaku terlalu percaya diri dan lain-lain. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini, kami ingin menguji beberapa variabel yang dianggap memiliki pengaruh positif dalam mendapatkan keputusan yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pengusaha yang beroperasi di Sumatera Utara, metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah partial least square dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi smart PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel literasi keuangan terbukti berpengaruh terhadap keputusan investasi, pendidikan keuangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi dan variabel terakhir yaitu kapabilitas keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi sebagai acuan bagi para pengusaha untuk selalu mengutamakan pendidikan mandiri sebelum berinvestasi, karena kegiatan investasi tidak hanya memiliki keuntungan menghasilkan keuntungan, tetapi juga berpotensi menderita kerugian jika tidak dibarengi dengan literasi keuangan yang mumpuni.
