Telemedicine sebagai Strategi Pelayanan Rumah Sakit pada Era Pandemi COVID-19

Pada era pandemi, rumah sakit dianggap tidak aman terhadap penularan COVID-19. Hal ini mengakibatkan penurunan kunjungan pasien ke rumah sakit yang diikuti kenaikan kedatangan pasien dengan kondisi berat. Telemedicine memiliki keunggulan untuk meningkatkan layanan kesehatan dan menurunkan resiko transmisi penyakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui literature review dengan sistem penapisan PRISMA flow diagram. Hasil penelitian dari 9 artikel adalah bahwa pelayanan telemedicine pada pandemi COVID-19 menjadi strategi layanan rumah sakit yang dapat diandalkan. Telemedicine memiliki berbagai kelebihan bila dibandingkan dengan pelayanan tatap muka, terutama dalam aspek efisiensi biaya dan keamanan pasien dari tertularnya dengan penyakit infeksius. Lingkup pelayanan telemedicine di rumah sakit tidak terbatas pada pasien instalasi rawat jalan, tetapi juga pada pasien instalasi gawat darurat, visit post operasi, dan dapat digunakan untuk diagnosis pasien anak. Kepuasan pemakaian telemedicine bagi pemberi pelayanan kesehatan, pasien, dan masyarakat semakin tinggi dikarenakan layanan telemedicine memberikan berbagai kemudahan. Pemanfaatan teknologi tinggi meningkatkan akurasi diagnosis dan ketepatan terapi jarak jauh.
